Whenever I crave the European (Parisian, in specific) lifestyle, I plan a trip to Montreal with my husband. Maybe it’s a reminder of our honeymoon in Paris. Who knows. But I have serious European lifestyle cravings. If we could, we would pick up and move there! There’s nothing quite like walking hand in hand on cobblestone streets surrounded by gorgeous and historic architecture. When we are in Montreal, we end up spending most of our time in Old Montreal because the vibe is as European as it gets down there.
It was fairly chilly when we went this past weekend, so I opted for this vintage burnt orange midi skirt, black turtleneck, and one of my favourite fall boots from last year. I was originally planning on wearing my new Acne Studios boots but I suddenly realized the orange-ish tortoise shell heel on these boots will go really well with the burnt orange midi skirt. I think I like how this outfit turned out and see myself repeating it for sure. The black turtleneck and boots create a classic fall look with the skirt but I can see this working well with a white turtleneck as well for a more neutral look.
I couldn’t find the exact skirt online, but look for it in your local Zara store. I’ve linked a few burnt orange pieces that could be worn with black or white, depending on which suits you better.
