Happy November, beauties. This is the perfect time of the year to start introducing your favourite camel coat and killer boots, like this one with tortoise shell heels. Toronto has been blessed with beautiful weather recently. It’s November, almost 20 degrees celsius, and the fall leaves are as gorgeous as ever. It’s safe to say, none of us are complaining to Mother Nature (yet).
I’ve always wanted to find the perfect camel coat for Fall but it never worked out. Perhaps I was just too picky because it would be my first one. Some of the things I looked for were the length of the coat, closure, and fit. I never found a combination that satisfied me enough until I came across this one at Topshop. The combination just worked. So perfectly. It looked neat, structured, and there was a bonus. Can you guess? Grey detailing on the cuffs, pocket flaps and collar! Details get me every time, and this coat proved it yet again. I was pleasantly surprised to find the soft grey tones against the camel coat. It gives off boyfriend coat vibes because it’s slightly oversized, making it perfect for layering.
Okay, enough about the coat.
On to the boots. Yeah I know, I’m in love with them just as much as you are. The cashier and I debated between calling it a marble heel vs. the official tortoise shell heel name. Marble or tortoise shell, who cares? It’s drop dead gorgeous! But for consistency’s sake, let’s go with the official name; Tortoise Shell. It’s such a rare find and it instantly elevates the entire look. I’ve worn it just a few times and I noticed people doing a double take once they saw the heel. I should also mention that these boots are really comfortable. If you’re looking for some animal print for Fall which is not cliche (I’m looking at you, cheetah print-everything) then this is the perfect piece to add to your shoe collection. It’s fun yet sophisticated. Get it.
Hope this inspires your fall/winter wardrobes. Thanks for reading! 🙂
