Sunday consisted of a fun photoshoot with Outside the Runway and the discovery of an amazing Toronto food delivery service called Foodora. I’m so excited to share this experience with you because it will take care of those feeling-hungry-but-don’t-wanna-cook woes. But first, let’s talk about how much I love shooting with Manya of Outside the Runway. It’s been a few months now and we have been loving it. I get to do what I love (take photos) and she gets to document and showcase her passion in styling and fashion. Here’s one of my favourites from the shoot. The weather wasn’t exactly cooperating with us for this shoot but we still made the best of it, as I’m sure you can tell from this short clip. All of this dancing and photographing had us feeling hungry and lazy. Very lazy. We didn’t want to cook, and nor did we want to eat at a restaurant. Our comfy sweaters and bed were calling our names in the gloomy weather. So we did just that.
We decided to head to Manya’s place and order food from Foodora, the best Toronto food delivery service there is. I was so impressed with their website and ordering process from start to finish. Yes, that’s the first thing that comes to mind to this tech girl over here. It was so user friendly and intuitive. I also loved how many options there were. Most of the nicest food spots in Toronto were available on Foodora. This brings me to the hardest part of the experience – choosing which restaurant to go with. Manya knew exactly what she wanted. I was sitting there with 7 tabs open, not able to decide because everything looked so good. I finally decided to order food from Mi Taco Taqueria. I was mentioning how impressive the ordering process was from start to finish but guess what, it didn’t end there.
As soon as I submitted the order online, I received a text message notifying me when the food was being prepared, picked up and almost at the door! You might be wondering why the text messages are referring to Hurrier, well that’s because this food delivery service was originally named Hurrier. But because they were so successful, they recently got acquired by Foodora, an international food delivery brand. So this means that you could be in Paris, Sydney or good old Toronto, and you would still experience a standardized food delivery experience. The food arrived quicker than we could decide which episode of Friends to watch. That lime soda. Yum!
Diving straight into the guac. Obviously.

I absolutely recommend this Toronto food delivery service if you’re looking for an easy and quick option. We are so glad Foodora saved the day and thank them for sending us these delicious meals! Next time, I’m gonna order Thai, or maybe Indian, or wait, maybe Ethiopian.
Have a wonderful week ahead, my dear readers and tell me all about your Foodora experience when you use it!
